We’ve just finished serving our third mens group since Labor Day ended. Where are the women? They actually come later; two womens retreats before the end of next month.
Here’s a look at how we’ve been feeding them this year:
FIRST & SECOND GROUP
Thursday dinner: Roast pork loin, orzo with carrots and dill, sauteed broccoli, roasted zucchini with cherry tomatoes, tossed salad, rolls, Black Forest cake.
Friday breakfast: Bacon & cheddar frittatas, turkey sausage, buttermilk biscuits, homefries, fruit salad.
Friday lunch: Pulled pork on whole-grain buns,m baked beans, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, Italian ice.
Friday dinner: Chicken Parmesan, rigatoni with tomato-cream sauce, green beans, Caesar salad, dinner rolls, cherry crisp.
Saturday breakfast: Banana-chocolate chip pancakes, sausage patties, cinnamon-raisin oatmeal, apple streusel muffins.
Saturday lunch: Turkey burgers with lettuce, tomato and bacon, fries, Patriot pickles, vegetables with hummus, ice cream.
Saturday dinnerL Sausage & peppers, rice, fried corn, curried cauliflower, dinner rolls, tossed salad, chocolate mousse cake.
Friday dinner: Pulled pork and pulled chicken, baked beans, macaroni & cheese, corn on the cob, cornbread, heirloom tomatoes, carrot cake.
Late-night snack: Pepperoni and cheese pizza, Buffalo wings, Saratoga water (served in their meeting space).
Saturday breakfast: Roasted tomato and cheddar frittata, sausage links, homefries, banana muffins, yogurt, local apples.
Saturday lunch: Grilled and fried chicken breasts, Caesar salad, corn chowder with bacon, oyster crackers, chocolate chip cookies.
