Feeding families for the long weekend

We went the distance over Labor Day weekend, three days of service that featured two small, family-style meals, a smorgasbord for 230 people, a rained-out beach barbecue that still attracted 90 and meals that went from 50 reservations to 90 at the door.

Here’s how we fed them:

Friday dinner
